Installing the Alfred State VPN (Cloudflare One) - Windows 11

The Alfred State VPN allows you to securely access certain campus resources while off campus, such as printers, network drives, licensing servers, and remote desktop connections.

1. Navigate to the installation page at https://developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/team-and-resources/devices/cloudflare-one-client/download/
    
2. Download the latest stable version by clicking "Download latest stable release" (if you have a macOS device, switch over to the macOS guide at this link MacOS Cloudflare Install Guide )
3. Once the download finishes, click on it in the top right of your browser
    
4. Click "OK" in the popup if you receive one (it may be different depending on your browser, but choose whatever option will allow the installation)
    
5. Click "Yes" on the popup asking if Cloudflare One can make changes to your device
    
6. On the Cloudflare installer, click "Continue" on the right-hand side (if you do not see the installer, click the orange cloud on your taskbar)
    
7. When asked for a team name, enter alfredstate (exactly as shown, no capitals no spaces)
    
8. Click "Continue"
    
9. It will redirect you back to your browser, click on "Azure AD - Azure AD" directly under "Sign in with:"
    
10. Sign in with your Alfred State email address and password if prompted. If you are already signed in, this step may occur automatically
    
     
11. Click "Open Link", "Open Cloudflare One Client", or "Open" in the popup on the page it redirects you to depending on your browser (Top: Firefox, Middle: Google Chrome, Bottom: Microsoft Edge)
    
    
     
12. After signing in, the Cloudflare One application should open automatically, if not, click on the caret (^) on your taskbar
    
     
13. Then click on the gray cloud (you can hover over it to see the name to confirm, it will also be orange if you already connected)
     
14. Once open you can click "Connect" if you do not see the button already, click on "Home"
     
15. If it looks like the screen below you are connected to the VPN and can access campus resources

• Double check you entered the correct team name, to check click on "profile" and if something besides alfredstate is listed, click logout and return to step 6
• However, if no team is listed, and you see something similar to the screenshot below, scroll down on the profile tab and click "Login" under "Cloudflare One team login" and return to step 6
• If you are unable to access a specific resource remotely while using the VPN, especially if you could with previous VPNs please contact the Help Desk at our information below so we can submit a ticket to add the functionality to the VPN (or submit a ticket at the link below with as much detail as you can provide)
