Overview
ASC-WiFi is the wireless network for all personal devices on campus, for devices with a browser you can connect to ASC-WiFi and log in with your username and password. For a wired connection, or devices without an easily usable browser (smart devices and certain consoles) please follow the Registering Devices guide https://alfredstate.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/277/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=10737
iOS
Important: iOS Enables MAC Randomization by default with the "Private WiFi Address" Setting, set this to "Off" or "Fixed" to avoid being prompted to register every time you cannot to the network
- Navigate to "Settings"

- Tap on "WiFi" in Settings

- Click the blue "i" next to ASC-WiFi

- Tap on "Private Wi-Fi Address" then change it to "Fixed" or "Off"

- Tap "Allow Tracking" if prompted

- Tap "Join This Network"

- A pop up page should appear with a login (if it does not, open a browser and google something and it should redirect to the login)

- Enter your Alfred State username and password, check the box, and then tap "Log In" (IMPORTANT: Typing your full e-mail will return a generic error message, only type the part before @alfredstate.edu)

- If you are redirected to the alfredstate.edu page, you have successfully registered the device and can tap "Done" in the top-right

Android (Samsung)
Note: This guide is for newer Samsung phones running Android, many versions are slightly different, if you run into any questions please contact the Help Desk
- Navigate to "Settings"

- Tap "Connections"

- Tap "Wi-Fi"

- Tap "ASC-WiFi"

- Tap on the pop up saying "Sign in to Wi-Fi network" (it may also open a browser for you, if neither occur, open a browser and search anything to get redirected)

- The login page will now appear (if you still don't see it, open a browser and search something)

Troubleshooting
Error Messages:
"Authentication Failed" - Indicates the username does not exist (almost always, this occurs when you type your e-mail instead of your username)
