Request Device Registration

Overview

All personally owned devices will need to be registered to work on the campus network and in the dorms.  If the device has a browser when you connect to the network it will allow you to register the device via the Captive Portal page. 

Devices include:

  • Cell Phones
  • Gaming Consoles
  • Computers
  • Laptops
  • Tablets
  • Smart TVs
  • Streaming Devices

How to manually register devices?

  1. Go to Clearpass Device Registration site
  2. Login with Alfred State Username (not full email) and password
  3. Click Create button
  4. Enter MAC address, device name, phone number, and notes.

  5. Check Terms of Use
  6. Click create
