Overview
IMPORTANT: This guide will show you how to purchase the Creative Cloud suite provided through the SUNY Adobe Storefront at a very high discount. if you are unsure about pricing, licensing, or the subscription itself please review the Adobe Storefront Walkthrough before continuing
Walkthrough
Purchasing from the Adobe Storefront
- Navigate to the Storefront at https://adobe.itec.suny.edu and then click on SUNY Login

- Select Alfred State from the dropdown then click “Log In”

- On this sign in page enter your Alfred State e-mail, click “Next”

- Enter your Alfred State username and password, then click "Sign In"

- Once you are in the storefront you can view the product info by clicking on the name or click “Add to cart” to continue

- Verify the contents of your cart and proceed to checkout

- Fill out the form (tax is based on billing information), your name and e-mail are locked to what SUNY has on record for you

- Enter payment information and complete your purchase

Order Details and Installing Creative Cloud
- You will be directed to the details of your order after you purchase the product

- The “My account” section lets you view previous order details

- Shortly after you should receive an e-mail saying your order will be processed soon

- The next e-mail is just confirmation that you were given the software

- The last e-mail will be from Adobe, and this contains the download link for Creative Cloud click on the “Get started” button

- Complete the Alfred State login again if necessary.

- You will be taken to an Adobe website, select “Adobe Storefront” from the sign in menu

- Find “Creative Cloud” under All apps and click “Download”

- Either click the download in the top right of your browser or go to the Downloads folder of your device and double-click the file to install Creative Cloud.
(For Mac only)
You will need to double-click the folder to install and then click “Open” if asked.

- Click “Continue” to begin the installation

(For Mac only)
You will likely get a popup asking to log in to give adobe permissions, enter your login
- Wait until the installation finishes then click on “Continue”

- You are now on the Creative Cloud Desktop client, from here you can click “Install” next to any program you want to install on your machine under “Available in your plan”
