How to Install
- Open a browser and go to https://portal.office.com/account
- Use your Alfred State e-mail on the Sign In page

- Complete the Alfred State login with your username and password,

- Click "Install Office" from the top left box,

- Make note of where it is saving, it should go to Downloads,

- In the top right of your browser, click OfficeSetup.exe once it says done, if you don't see it, go to your downloads folder and double click it there,

- Click "Yes" if asked to allow Office to make changes on your device,

- Download should have started and look like this,

- When it finishes installing, click Done,

- To activate your Office apps, open one of them (i.e. Word)
- You should see a popup that says "welcome to Word", click Continue,

- Complete the same logins as you did in steps 2 and 3

- Accept the license agreement

- Office apps should now be installed and activated, if you have any issues with either, please contact the Help Desk for assistance (information listed below)
Common Issues
- Non-activated product errors - If you see a caution logo next to your name in the top right and it is not working, most likely your product is not activated,
Click your name, click "Sign out", then sign back in again, if the issue persists, contact the Help Desk
- Other Apps - If you are looking for other Office Products like Visio or Project, they must be installed separately, contact Help Desk or refer to other documentation
