Overview
Project is a project management software used by some classes, the steps below will walk you through downloading, installing, and activating Project for use in these classes.
Install Walkthrough
- Navigate to https://azureforeducation.microsoft.com/devtools
- If you have not received software from this website before, you will be prompted to fill out some student information

- After filling out all information, scroll down and click "Verify academic status"

- Once logged in, if you do not see "Software" on the left, click on ">Learning Resources" to expand it, and "Software" will be there on the left

- Click "Software"

- Type "Project" into the search bar

- Click "Project Professional 2021 - DVD"

- Click "Download" in the popup

- Wait for the download to finish, then click on it in the top right of your browser (if you closed or missed that popup, hit the windows key, type file explorer, open that, then go to downloads and double click the download there)

- If a warning appears like this, click "Open"

- If you are prompted by HP Sure Click to choose an extraction location, navigate to the downloads folder and extract it there, then reopen your downloads folder and double-click the project folder.
- Double-click "Setup.exe"

- Wait for the installation to complete

- Once completed, click "Close"

- Return to the https://azureforeducation.microsoft.com/devtools tab in your browser, if you still have the popup open (if not click Project 2021 again) click "View Key"

- Copy the key (you can just click the icon of two pages to the right of the key to copy)

- Hit the Windows key on your keyboard or very bottom left of your screen

- Type "Project" then click on it to open the app

- Paste your key into the popup requesting it

- After your key is entered, click "Activate Office"

- Project is now ready to use, if you have any issues with the installation process, please refer to the Troubleshooting steps below, and contact the Help Desk at the information listed below that if you cannot get Project working.
